Mr. Elliot, a project engineer, was deployed to Port Harcourt, Nigeria to manage and oversee a large-scale project at one of the largest oil and gas-free zones in the country. He had been working hard to ensure the project was completed in good time before tragedy struck.

He and his team were going about their regular functions on a fateful day when he began to develop mild headaches which he treated with analgesics gotten from the site clinic. This symptom however persisted and his condition began to deteriorate as he presented with additional complaints of nausea, loss of appetite, and vomiting.

He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital for further stabilization and was seen by a consultant neurologist who requested laboratory investigations be carried out. From the results, Mr. Elliot was diagnosed with lesions in the brain and this necessitated the need for him to be repatriated to a destination of medical excellence to receive further treatment.
