In 2018, the Media Men Ghana Limited during the second edition of its Health Legendary Honours Awards dubbed, “HELEH Africa 2018” presented two awards to Flying Doctors Nigeria and its founder.
The “HELEH Africa” is an annual event that seeks to recognise and reward health practitioners that are diligent in their profession as well as corporate bodies and organizations that support the health cause.
The founder of West Africa’s first Air Ambulance service was honoured as “Spirited Versatile Africa Clinician of the year”.
The Flying Doctors Nigeria was honoured as well as – Africa Resourced First Aid and Ambulance Service Provider of the year. Following this, the entire team is committed to double up its efforts in saving hundreds of lives yearly.
