England's Youngest Doc is Nigeria's Flying Doctor

Dr Ola Orekunrin, born and bred in England, has decided to return to Nigeria to affect the people positively. Orekunrin, 23, wrote her final medical examinations at 21, emerging one of the youngest medical doctors in England. She is back home to float a company called Flying Doctors Nigeria (FDN). FDN is the first air ambulance service in the whole of West Africa and is quoted as being "one of the most important healthcare innovations in Nigeria this decade".

Flying Doctors Nigeria is a social enterprise that provides urgent air ambulances to leading health institutions, insurance companies and private individuals throughout West Africa .
